Our Compass Hoop Earrings are available in a range of precious metals, including Sterling Silver and 18ct Yellow Vermeil.

These elegant earrings boast a total length of approximately 29mm. The hoop itself has a diameter of 18mm, while the petite compass pendant measures 11mm in diameter with a depth of 2mm.

Rest assured, your Compass Earrings are embellished with hallmarkings that include our maker's mark, the Assay office symbol, and details about the date and purity of the Silver or Gold.

18ct Yellow Gold : (750 parts of Gold per thousand)
9ct Yellow Gold : (375 parts of Gold per thousand)

Yellow Gold is alloyed with copper and silver to strengthen it and give it longevity.
The shade of the Gold depends on the Gold content, therefore 18ct Yellow colour is richer in colour than the paler Yellow Gold.

Sterling Silver : 925 hallmarked Sterling Silver
Gold Vermeil : layer of 18ct Gold Plate of at least 2.5 microns over the top of Sterling Silver.

Gold Vermeil is a layer of 18ct Gold Plate that will eventually wear away over time
The speed of this wear is affected by elements such as being exposed to water, heat, chlorine, natural body oils, products and perfumes.

I know it’s tempting to wear your jewellery while swimming, showering or at the gym but it should be avoided.
And it’s best to put your jewellery on after applying your make-up and lovely scent.

With all of my Bianca Jones jewellery,  I believe in creating forever heirlooms, putting people and the planet first. My pieces are either made straight into metal, hand-carved in wax or using CAD and cast through the ancient process of lost-wax-casting locally here in the UK. All of the Silver and Gold is recycled. And each piece is hand-finished with care and love.

Please note pieces with engraving or stone setting can occasionally take up to two-three weeks before dispatch. Yellow Gold pieces are made to order and may take three-five weeks before it is ready for dispatch.

So, I designed pretty vintage-style packaging and gift cards inspired by gift-giving and the olden days. All are hand-made in Italy from recycled card.

We present your jewellery in a traditional box with a special suede pouch for you to keep your jewellery safe and sound.

Place the gorgeous note card of your choice on top and then hand-tie the box with grosgrain ribbon.
