Guidance on Sizes for Your Jewellery

Guidance on Sizes for Your Jewellery

When buying gifts for loved ones or treating yourself, choosing the right size can be challenging. To help you select the perfect piece of jewellery, whether it's a necklace or ring, we've put together this guide to understanding sizes. At Bianca Jones Jewellery, all our pieces are handcrafted in our London workshop, meaning we can customise your jewellery to your exact size requirements.

Finding Your Necklace Chain Length

Our necklaces are available in various chain lengths to suit different styles and preferences:

  • 16″ (40.64 cm)
  • 18″ (45.72 cm)
  • 20″ (50.8 cm)
  • 24″ (60.96 cm)

To help you visualise these lengths, please refer to the image provided. The pendants shown measure 1.8 cm by 1.8 cm. Our model, Lauren, is 177 cm (5'10″) tall and wears a size 8.

Our necklace chains are designed with a curb chain and feature a beautiful hand-tied Freshwater Pearl by the clasp. Each piece is hallmarked with our maker's mark, the Assay Office, the date, and the purity of the silver or gold used.

Our most popular chain length is 18″, which suits most wearers. Longer chains are also ideal for layering necklaces, creating a stylish and versatile look. If you're unsure which length to choose, we're happy to send out extra chain lengths for you to try on and return the ones that don't suit your style.

Finding Your Ring Size

Getting the right ring size is important for comfort and security. Your ring should fit snugly enough to stay on without being too tight, and it should still slide over your knuckle easily.

When measuring your ring size, keep in mind that your fingers can change size slightly throughout the day due to temperature and physical activity. For example, measuring your ring size when your hands are cold isn't recommended, as your fingers could be up to half a size smaller.

To help you find your perfect fit, you can download our printable Ring Sizer for guidance. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can send you a plastic ring size gauge by post. Just contact us at hello@biancajones.co.uk with your details and address, and we'll be happy to assist.

For further assistance, here is our Ring Conversion Table to help you determine the right size for your finger.
